Clay Rucker

Clay is managing director for Raymond James and Associates. Clay received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University and began his investing career in New York in 1983. He joined Raymond James in Atlanta in 1997 where he continues his commitment to professional education and his study of the financial markets. He has earned the following designations: Wealth Management Specialist, Trust Specialist, Retirement Plan Consultant, Investment Management Consultant, and Registered Investment Advisor. His focus is on applying best practices in institutional investing on behalf of individual investors and crafting strategic and tactical investment solutions that meet the unique needs of his clients and their families. Clay grew up in Waite Hill, Ohio, and resides in Atlanta and Highlands with his wife Jennifer. They have two adult children, Elizabeth and Will and two grandchildren. In Atlanta, Clay’s service was focused primarily on involvement at All Saints Episcopal Church, The Lovett School, and Pace Academy. Since becoming a homeowner in Highlands, engagement shifted starting with Church of the Incarnation (finance committee). Clay is currently evaluating other ways to become more deeply involved in serving the Highlands community.
