Joyce Fleming

Joyce Fleming retired as a partner from Ford & Harrison, a nationwide employment law firm based in Atlanta.  She established and managed the firm’s business immigration law practice.  She is a native of San Antonio, Texas and is of Mexican descent through her mother.  She is bilingual in Spanish and English and has long been involved in nonprofits that benefit the Latino community. She has been President and a Board Member of the International Friendship Center in Highlands.  She chairs its Empty Bowls fundraiser which benefits the Highlands Food Pantry.  She was a Board Member of Atlanta’s Latin American Association for over 20 years and was one of the founders of the Atlanta Mexican Cultural Association.  She is a graduate of University of Georgia Law School.
