Become acquainted with the magic of printmaking in a few of its many forms during this one-day workshop with artist Mia Loia. This class will focus on utilizing the wonder of our environment, for students of all skill levels to create satisfying works of art. From pulling mono-prints using collected specimens, to carving relief blocks inspired by wildlife silhouettes, this survey class will cover the basics of becoming comfortable with using ink and a press to create works on paper in repeat. Learning a new skill or strengthening a hobby is powerful for the mind and soul, making this workshop not only a creative journey but also a fulfilling experience.
