Our community is confronting a serious challenge. Cuts in federal funding, including cuts to Medicaid, have greatly diminished the support for health clinics and wellness programs on which many residents rely. Our mission is to support these organizations so that everyone—regardless of income—can continue to have access to care. For our rural areas, this issue isn’t only about budget constraints; it’s about maintaining essential services for neighbors, friends, and families needed to stay healthy and thriving.

At the Health Foundation, we are committed to supporting these clinics and organizations so they can continue making a difference in our communities’ health. However, with funding uncertainties on the horizon, we need your support. We sincerely appreciate your consideration in donating to help us carry on our vital work as we aim to:

  • Keep local health services available and accessible
  • Provide crucial support to the non-profits in our service area
  • Ensure continued care during this period of uncertainty

Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. Thank you for caring about the health and well-being of our community.

With gratitude,
Dr. Myrle Grate
Executive Director

The Health Foundation is deeply grateful for the community’s support and the positive changes it has brought to our area. Your generous donations will continue to empower us to support essential programs and services that improve the health of all individuals in our community.
