How to Apply

2025 GRANTMAKING PROCESS

We are currently working on our 2025 grant distribution schedule. Please stay tuned for more information.

Grants are our most prolific way to impact our community. The Health Foundation strives to partner with organizations whose transformative, lasting solutions will advance our mission to improve the health and well-being of Highlands, Cashiers, and surrounding communities.

Please read the following steps before beginning your application.

ORGANIZATIONAL INQUIRIES

Organizations will complete the Organizational Inquiry Form. We will set up a discussion with you to verify your eligibility and determine how your proposal aligns with our strategic priorities. Organizations will then be notified of an invitation to proceed to Step 2.

Pre-application

Organizations will complete and submit the Pre-application. The Pre-application will be reviewed by our Foundation Programs & Grants Committee. Organizations will be notified of an invitation to proceed to Step 3.

Full Grant Application

Organizations will complete and submit the Full Grant Application. Applications will be reviewed by our Programs & Grants Committee and recommended to the Board of Directors for funding.
