David Moore graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama. Mr. Moore is a retired banking professional with extensive experience in corporate and investment banking. He has held roles as a branch manager, commercial lender, medical and professional banker, and treasury sales officer at SunTrust Banks in Atlanta, covering the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana markets. Additionally, he served as a treasury sales officer at Wachovia in Charlotte, covering Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona.
David’s involvement in civic activities is notable, having been a past board member of the President’s Commission on the Status of Women at Emory University and the founder of the Emory International Students Association. He has also held various leadership positions, including past president of Conyers Kiwanis Club and current chaplain of the Rotary Club of Highlands. David’s service extends to nonprofit boards, where he has served as a board member for organizations such as the Conyers/Rockdale Arts Council and Lakeview Family Medical Center. He has also contributed his expertise as a treasurer and chairman to the International Friendship Center/Highlands Food Pantry, the Highlands-Cashiers Chamber Music Festival, and the Community Care Clinic of Highlands-Cashiers. Notably, David is an advisory board member of the Brinson Honors College at Western Carolina University.
