Leah Horton is a retired Presbyterian Church (USA) pastor who served at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and Pilgrim Church in Duxbury, MA. Her focus in ministry was on mission, adult education and women’s spirituality. She received a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, a Masters of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, and did further graduate work in Emory’s Graduate Division of Religion. While Atlanta has been home for Leah and Bill since the 80’s, they now spend a majority of their time in Cashiers where both have become involved in the community. Leah serves as an advisor to the Cashiers Community Fund, recently completed her term as President of the Board of the International Friendship Center, and leads the garden committee in her local community. She and Bill have three married daughters and 9 wonderful grandchildren who love being here in the mountains just as much as they do.
