AWAKE, Inc. – Supported specialized medical examinations for child abuse victims.
Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic – Strengthened dental health services for low-income and uninsured patients.
Cashiers Glenville Fire Department – Purchased six new air packs to support the health of our fire fighters.
Clay County Public Health Department – Strengthened community emergency transport services by providing state of the art ambulance equipment, including automated CPR devices.
Clay County Governing Board – Supported the expansion of the Clay and Cherokee County Mobile Dental Program.
Clay County Department of Social Services – Funded the program “Combatting Secondary Trauma Among First Responders”.
Community Care Clinic of Franklin – Funded primary care services for low-income and uninsured patients.
Community Care Clinic of Highlands-Cashiers – Funded a Capacity Building Grant to develop a program for access to diagnostic imaging, lab and other outpatient testing services recommended by the clinic’s medical professionals for low income and uninsured patients.
Counseling and Psychotherapy Center of Highlands – Funded a Capacity Building Grant to increase access to critically needed behavioral health services.
Glenville-Cashiers Rescue Squad – Funded the purchase of a 6×6 All Terrain-Vehicle to increase safety for EMS squads during remote, wilderness rescues.
Hospice House Foundation of WNC – Funded the capital campaign to complete the hospice inpatient facility in Franklin, NC.
KIDS Place – Funded increased access to mental health treatment for child victims of abuse and their caregivers.
Macon County EMS – Strengthened community emergency transport services by providing state of the art ambulance equipment, including automated CPR devices.
Meridian Behavioral Health Services – Funded the purchase of three vehicles to aid in the transportation to mental health services for patients in Western North Carolina.
Mountain Area Health Education Center – Funded the expansion of the COVID-19 Educational Materials to migrant farmworkers alongside Vecino’s Health.
Mountain Area Pro Bono Health Services – Funded Telehealth Physical Therapy program to be used by uninsured individuals in Jackson County.
REACH of Macon County – Supported Behavioral Health Therapy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Currently 100% of shelter clients have access to a mental health provider.
Smoky Mountains Outreach Foundation – Funded increased access to dental services for 55 new veterans participating in the VET SMILES program.
Southwestern Community College – Funded the purchase of a new Simulation Mannequin for students in their Health Science Programs.
Swain County Health Department – Increased access to a nutrition program for 32 new senior citizens in Swain County.
Vecino’s Farmworker Health Program -Provided funding for a new mobile health services clinic for indigent and uninsured migrant farmworkers.
Warrior Survival School – Supported Resiliency Training for Veterans and First Responders in Macon and Jackson Counties.
