Dear Highlands Cashiers Health Foundation:
On behalf of Summit Charter School, I simply cannot express in words how grateful we are to have a school nurse, thanks to you, not only on a daily basis but especially during the current public health crisis. Our nurse, Zandra Wingfield, has been providing our families, faculty, and staff with information on COVID-19 since early February. She has served as a critical liason between our school and health entities. Furthermore, her voice was invaluable when we discussed a school closure, resulting in Summit deciding to close before it was mandated by the state. Thank you so much for believing in our school, empowering our children to live healthy lives, and for ensuring the health and well-being of our communities.
